If a computer is slow, keeps freezing, or shows an error you don’t understand, describe what you see. I can help work through common computer problems and basic cleanup.

What to have ready

Tell me the computer’s make and model, what you were doing when the problem appeared, and anything you have already tried. Keep the computer nearby if we arrange help. Please do not send passwords.

Remote or in-person?

Some software and settings problems can be looked at remotely. If the issue needs someone at the computer, an in-home visit in the Columbia area may be available by request. I’ll discuss what seems appropriate after reviewing the problem.

Current options are a $20 Quick Fix, $35 Tech Help, or $50+ for longer or more involved work. We’ll discuss the expected price before work begins whenever possible. A requested appointment time is not booked until I confirm it.
